Discovery Park is located where the American River meets the Sacramento River. The beautiful 302-acre park is located adjacent to I-5 in downtown Sacramento. Fans will enter the festival on the north side of Discovery Park at the Garden Highway entrance or the Jibboom Street entrance from the south.
A WORD ABOUT PARKING
Festival parking is not available within Discovery Park during Aftershock. Camping is also not allowed. In an effort to limit the amount of vehicles around the festival, we ask you to consider the convenient transportation options outlined below.
If you do drive, Aftershock greatly encourages carpooling as much as possible. There will be a limited amount of paid parking available for fans in designated areas surrounding the park. NOTE: The festival does not manage any of these lots and parking fees are set by parking lot management. All parking is at your own risk. Aftershock asks everyone to be a “good neighbor” and be respectful of the residents living near Discovery Park and use designated parking areas only.
PARK & RIDE SHUTTLE PASSES
The most convenient way to get to Discovery Park for Aftershock is to use our Park & Ride program! Each Park & Ride ticket includes parking for your vehicle and a non-stop shuttle directly to and from the festival site. Park and Ride Shuttle passes are sold daily and for the weekend. Stay tuned for more details on the 2022 Park and Ride Shuttle Program.
Discovery Park is located along the Jedediah Smith Bike Trail and getting to the festival by bike is fun, convenient and encouraged! Aftershock will have a complimentary BIKE VALET located near the Jibboom Street entrance. Stay tuned for more details.
